They know the high-school version of the history and culture of the place, but can’t offer deeper knowledge, or keep up with modern scholarship.

And they don’t know you, so they don’t know that the art exhibition at the local gallery is going to be the best thing you’ve ever seen.

In it you’ll find day-by-day itineraries, maps of local attractions, restaurants, and hidden gems. We’ll also give you our local’s guide to Portugal, with information about the history and culture of the places you’ll be visiting, plus all the little things you might not have known to ask: How can you best avoid the lines? Where can I go to buy aspirin? How much should I be tipping? Which side of the train should I sit on for the best view?

Your guide can also include ground transportation options as well as possibilities for hotels, AirBnBs, or unique stays (castles, wineries, windmills, spas) for you to choose from and book yourselves.
