Everyone loves bringing a little bit of their vacation home with them. And shopping in Lisbon has a delightful hidden historical secret! Strewn throughout the city are shops that have been designated “Lojas com Historia” (shops with history).
These are shops owned and operated by locals (rather than big corporations!) who have been selling their wares here, sometimes, for centuries! These shops work with the local government to maintain their original character, and to continue selling their traditional Portuguese-made for centuries to come.
